TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

OUr SERVICE POLICY

We want you to love your hair. We offer a 1-week service guarantee on all services. If you have any concerns about your service, you must contact us within 48 hours of your appointment so we can assess the issue. Where appropriate, we will arrange a complimentary corrective service, which must be completed within 7 days of your original appointment. Please note that we do not offer refunds on completed services.

OUr guarantee

Our guarantee does not apply if:

  • You do not contact us within 48 hours of your appointment.
  • You changed your mind after your consultation or service.
  • You were advised during your consultation that your desired result may not be achievable.
  • You have had your hair cut, styled, coloured or chemically treated by another salon, or attempted to rectify your hair at home, after your appointment.
  • You left the salon with wet hair before the final result could be checked.

cancellation policy

Due to our intimate salon size, cancellations affect us greatly. When you book an appointment with Marie-France Group, we set the time and stylist aside just for you. If you cancel with late notice or simply do not show up at all, it impacts us significantly and inconveniences the many other clients that have been turned away because we were fully booked.

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or re-schedule your appointment. 
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment time will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the booked service value. 
  • If unable to attend, you may send someone else in your place for a service similar of value/duration to avoid cancellation fees.

DEPOSITS

  • A 50% deposit of the base cost of your service is required to secure your first appointment. Deposits are then redeemable against your appointment total.
  • Failure to attend your appointment without notice will result in the deposit being forfeited as a no-show fee.
  • Deposits are refundable or transferable if more than 24 hours’ notice is provided.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES

  • Service pricing is based on average product usage and appointment duration.
  • Additional charges may apply if extra product is required during your service, including but not limited to, colour, lightener, QiQi, etc.
  • Additional charges may also apply if your appointment exceeds the standard allocated service time due to; thick or long hair, additional hot tool styling or finishing, etc.
  • Any additional costs will be discussed with you where possible during your appointment.

GIFT VOUCHERS AND COMPLIMENTARY SERVICES

  • Gift vouchers and complimentary services cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another service unless approved.
  • They cannot be used in conjunction with other offers or packages.
  • Only one voucher may be used per appointment unless otherwise stated.
  • Vouchers are non-refundable and not redeemable after the expiry date.
  • All vouchers are subject to availability and must be mentioned at the time of booking.
  • We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or expired vouchers.
  • $20 gift vouchers are redeemable on services valued at $100 or more.

VIP LOyalty program

  • VIP appointments may be booked up to 12 months in advance
  • We reserve the right to amend or terminate the VIP Loyalty Program, including fees, benefits, and terms, at any time.
  • Members may cancel their membership in writing.
  • Participation in the VIP Loyalty Program constitutes acceptance of all terms and conditions.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate memberships in cases of misuse or breach of program guidelines.

REFERRAL PROGRAM

  • Referral Program participants must be current salon clients.
  • Referred clients must be new customers who have not previously used our services
  • Once the referred client completes their appointment, the referral reward or discount voucher will be added to your account.
  • Referral rewards are valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
  • We reserve the right to amend or discontinue the referral Program at any time.
  • Participation in the Referral Program constitutes acceptance of all program terms and conditions.
