Hair services :

Salon gift vouchers / Complimentary Gifts / Student discounts:

– do not allow you to request a specific stylist.
– cannot be exchanged for cash or another service.
– cannot be used with any other offer or be redeemed with packages.
-may only be redeemed by the named recipient.
– are not valid after the expiry date stated.
– are subject to availability
– students receive 30% off Creative Stylist prices.
– student discount valid on Tuesday or Wednesday only
– vouchers only redeemable on Tuesday through Friday (vouchers or gifts)
– may not be redeemed on appointments scheduled from 5pm
– must be mentioned upon booking.
– Marie-France Group does not take responsibility for lost or expired vouchers.

$20 Gift Voucher

– May only be redeemed against a service valued at $99 or higher.
– May not be redeemed against the cost of a Le Jouge service.

“Le Jouge” Voucher

– Le Jouge vouchers entitle the bearer to a 10 minute quick salon finish.
– No curls, no upstyles.
– Client must arrive with freshly washed and dry hair.
– You will be assigned a stylist based on availability, you may not select a stylist of your choice.

Your Guarantee

We guarantee our work for a period of two weeks after your service. If you feel your service did not achieve what was agreed during consultation, and that we did not deliver what was promised, we will offer you a complimentary service to the same value. We do not offer a refund.
This does not apply if:
– you have simply changed your mind about what was agreed during consultation.
– you did not come back to us within the two week period after your service to allow us an opportunity to- – – –achieve the desired result.
– you were advised that the desired colour would most likely take several applications to achieve.
– you had a hair service at another salon since your visit here.
– you decided to leave the salon with wet hair.

Deposit and Cancellation Policy

Due to our intimate salon size, cancellations affect us greatly. When you book an appointment with Marie-France Group, we set the time and stylist aside just for you. In order to secure your appointment, we require a $50 deposit to be paid at the time of booking. Deposits are redeemable on the days of your appointments. The deposit may be paid by Credit Card over the phone or Credit Card, EFTPOS, or Cash in the salon and is held against your booking as a credit towards that appointment.
Cancellation policy:
– Missing an appointment greatly effects our team as they all have a commission based wage.
– If you cancel with late notice or simply do not show up at all, it impacts on us significantly and inconveniences the many other clients that have been turned away because we were fully booked.
– We require a minimum of 24 hours notice if you wish to cancel or re-schedule your appointment. If a cancellation is made with more than 24 hours notice, the deposit is refunded or forwarded to the new appointment time.
– If a cancellation is made with less than 24 hours noticed, the deposit is forfeited as a late cancellation fee.
– Clients who provide less than 24 hours notice are welcome to send someone else in their place to have the booked service(s), or something of similar allocated time, to avoid losing their deposit.
– If you simply do not show up to a booked appointment, the deposit is forfeited as a no-show fee and you may not make any future appointments without payment in FULL at the time of booking.

Marie-France Group is committed to ensuring your comfort, safety and privacy within all aspects. In accordance with the Privacy Act 1988, we collect your personal information for our use only, and assure you we will not pass your information on to third parties.

We ask for your email address and personal phone number. If you are uncomfortable sharing this information with us, please inform us and we will do everything we can to accommodate your needs.

We occasionally take photographs of our clients for social media and other marketing to display our work. We will only take and use these photographs with express permission.

Colour Policy :

Marie-France Group recommends a patch test of all colour products 48 hours before application to ensure there are no allergic reactions or sensitivities; particularly for those with a history of allergies or have never had their hair coloured before. Our stylists will happily perform this service for you free of charge.
